Privacy and refunds
Qatom Market Newsroom sells a daily news briefing on Qatom. This is what it keeps about you, why, and how refunds work.
What the store keeps
- The email a pass is sold to. It is how the pass reaches you: when you sign in with the Qatom login of that email, the pass is applied to it. It is used for nothing else: no newsletters, no marketing, and it is never sold or shared.
- Your Qatom sign-in. Signing in with Qatom gives the store your login's name, email and whether Qatom has verified it, to know which passes are yours.
- Your agent's key. Only a hash of it, to know which reader an agent reads for.
- What you send the feedback item. The message, the transaction it names, and an email to answer you at if you give one, to answer you and handle refunds.
- Sales. The Qatom transaction ids of the items served, so none is served twice. Payment details stay with Qatom; the store never sees them.
- Server logs. The web server logs each request's address and path, to keep the site running and safe.
Who else sees it
Qatom (TODAQ), which handles sign-in and payment; and the server's host. The news is analysed by a language model provider, which is sent news reports, never readers' personal data.
Keeping and deleting it
It is kept while you have a pass or an open request. Ask through the free feedback item, "Newsroom: feedback (free)", to see or delete what the store keeps about you.
Refunds
Payments on Qatom settle at once. Refunds are the store's to give, sent to the wallet that paid. If something went wrong, send the free feedback item the transaction id from your receipt and what happened; add an email to be answered at. A pass the store can't honour is refunded in full. If the store doesn't answer, Qatom's Team Kepler feedback item (catalog item 194) or support@todaq.net takes it to the store.
Not advice
